These appliances must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste. If devices contain batteries, accumulators or lamps that can be removed without destroying them, these must be removed and disposed of separately before disposal. Owners of old devices can dispose of them free of charge at municipal collection points. B2B manufacturers are not obliged to take them back free of charge; a take-back can be agreed on a case-by-case basis. Users are responsible for deleting personal data from old devices. Information on the current collection and recycling rates can be found at www.bmuv.de.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The symbol of the crossed-out wheelie garbage can means that batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste (e.g. residual waste garbage can or yellow garbage can). You are legally obliged to dispose of them separately from unsorted municipal waste. Please use municipal collection or return points for this purpose. You can obtain information on free return options from your city or local authority.<\/p>

If possible, avoid the generation of waste from used batteries by using long-life or rechargeable batteries. Never dispose of batteries carelessly in public spaces. Instead, consider reusing them, e.g. by reconditioning or repairing them.<\/p>

Batteries may contain substances that are hazardous to the environment and health. Particular care should be taken with batteries containing lithium - there is a risk of fire if they are handled incorrectly. Batteries and accumulators that can be removed from electrical appliances without causing damage must be removed from the appliance before disposal and disposed of separately.<\/p>\n<\/div>

In Austria, all packaging delivered to our customers is exempt via the ARA license number 26873. Electrical appliances and batteries are registered via ERA\/ARAplus (customer no. 52526).
