The award is presented annually by the Federal Ministries of Economy and Science and Research in collaboration with key institutions of the innovation ecosystem\u2014including <strong>aws, FFG, and the Federation of Austrian Industries<\/strong>. It honors projects that combine scientific excellence with entrepreneurial potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year, outstanding innovations are recognized in four categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Start-up<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spin-off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prototyp<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Female Entrepreneurs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">We are particularly proud that <strong>voidsy emerged as the winner in the startup category<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technology that makes the invisible visible<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">At the heart of our work is our <strong>3D V-ROX photothermal tomography system<\/strong>. Using this technology, we have developed a novel form of <strong>photothermal tomography<\/strong> that, for the first time, enables high-resolution <strong>3D inspection of materials and components without contact and without coupling media<\/strong>. Our system uses thermal signatures to reveal <strong>hidden defects inside components<\/strong> without damaging them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">This technology opens up new possibilities for <strong>non-destructive testing (NDT)<\/strong>, particularly in industries with the highest safety standards, such as the aerospace and renewable energy sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our mission is clear \u2013 <strong>To sustainably improve quality, safety, and efficiency in industrial production processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Another milestone for voidsy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">Winning the PH\u00d6NIX Award follows another major achievement: in 2025, voidsy was already awarded the <strong>Upper Austria State Prize for Innovation in Gold<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both awards highlight the potential of our technology and demonstrate that our work is highly regarded in both research and industrial applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thank you to our team and our partners<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Success like this never happens on its own.
